OIL AND GAS

Fiberglass (FRP) tanks are widely used in the oil and gas industry due to their proven ability to safely store aggressive crude oil, high salinity water, hazardous chemicals, and flammable liquids. Some products in the upstream oilfield and site applications include: API 12P storage tanks, fiberglass gun barrels, free water knockouts (FWKO), heater treaters, adjustable water leg separators, and corrosion resistant FRP stairwells, walkways, and structural bands.

 

CHEMICAL STORAGE

The industrial market uses a large variety of chemical storage tanks that need the corrosion protection and reliability that fiberglass provides. Fiberglass tanks can be used to handle a variety of chemicals like Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach), Ferric Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide, Sulfuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Alum, and many more. Fiberglass tanks make an excellent choice for many chemicals due to their durability, corrosion resistant properties, and customization capabilities.

 

VERTICAL FLAT BOTTOM

Fiberglass storage tanks have long been used in applications where watertight design integrity is critical, including extensive use in the storage of motor fuels. Vertical fiberglass tanks can be open tops or fully enclosed with a dome, dished or conical top.

 

VERTICAL LEG

Vertical FRP leg tanks are manufactured with open top or closed top with a dished, domed, or conical style. They can also be fitted with dome bottoms with a 30" clearance, as well as a cone bottom. The smaller tanks are built with angle iron legs while the larger tanks have l-beam legs.

 

HORIZONTAL

Horizontal FRP tank ends are domed or dished to provide better strength and weight distribution. The horizontal fiberglass tank can be mounted using carbon steel, concrete, or polyurethane foam filled cradles. Foam core, FRP cradles are standard and glassed directly to the tank shell for a seamless, fully integrated support structure.

 

MULTI-PIECE

Sectional multi-piece fiberglass tanks are factory-fabricated and transported to the job site. All appurtenances are field installed by specialized field crews with over a decade of experience installing sectional FRP tanks.
